This classic pond leveler install footage was taken in Deer Island, OR in partnership in a project with a private landowner. The owner loved having beaver on their land, but local beaver were building their dam so high in a nearby the pond it was threatening to flood out the forest access road. After a consultation, Beaver Craftworks determined that a pond leveler would allow beaver to stay but would prevent the dam from flooding the landowners roadway. Install was a success–a win-win for both land owner and beaver.
